For my Senior Seminar project my original plan was to create a radio show. The purpose of this radio show would be for the school to have a place where they can primarily listen to the music that they want/request. Secondarily It would be a place for not only Chinquapin students but teachers and staff as well to express themselves and also concerns concerning the school or even outside issues. Now however i believe that i don't have the necessary utilities to accomplish such a feat. so instead i have decided to create a series of podcast. I am not entirely sure what they will consist off however.
I think that this is a great idea but I feel that this shouldn't only be for music but rather it should also be to inform people.Instead of having to read announcements in the morning we can hear it and maybe have a song with an announcement afterward.Maybe you can make a station using Pandora as a station. a person that can maybe help you with that as well is Susan.
ReplyDeleteFirst of all don't put yourself down by saying that you think you can't do something. If you really want to create a radio show you can do it. If you say you can't, then you won't be able to.
ReplyDeleteI really like the idea of you making a song. I think that you should include in your project why a song. Why is this important to you? I think that once you find the reason that this is important to you, it will impact others.
I think that its really cool to write your own song and music video. I think that instead of focusing to one genre of music you should have a wide range of genres! And for your music video, don't stick to one genre of art, do many! It will be unique and very you.
I at once contemplated writing a song. I actually tried. The thing was that I was forcing myself to write it. It didn't just come naturally. My cousin wrote a song. My friend wrote a song. Everyone seemed to be writing songs so I did too. But that is not for me. Then I just decided that I would sing songs and talk about how they make me feel what I feel.
ReplyDeleteThe reason I tell you this is becauseyou shouldn't do things because you think people will like it more or because everyone else is doing it. You can't force YOURSELF. Do what you love. You are an awesome poet. I have read your work. If that is what you are passionate about then do it. Write a song that will blow us away. Make my cry when I hear you sing YOUR song.
Like Rebecca said; don't hold yourself back. You'll only be hurting yourself. If you are truly passionate about something, Don't let anything hold you back. Not even yourself. You may feel confused at times, things may not always work out, but, like I told Brenda, keep pushing forward.
