Change!!!
Again i have decided to change my senior project. My original idea as you know was to create a song and a music video for the song. I intend to do the same thing but in a different manner.My mother actually gave me the idea of making an Alma Mata or Alma mater for Chinquapin. For those who dont know, and Alma Mata is a schools theme song. Usually these theme songs are played by a band of some sort but i want to make the song much more urban or pop-ish in a way. I want people to jump up and scream this song when it is sung. I think this could be a really excellent idea.

Hey Shomari! I really like this idea of making a song for the school. Specially if its going to be more urban or pop-ish. I think that if the song is cool enough people will actually make the effort and learn it. I do have a suggestion thought. Personally I wouldn't know where to start with this school song, I don't know if that's the case with you, but you can always look at other school theme song. You don't have to copy them but it can inspire you. Well either way, good luck with this idea! I hope you are able to make a really cool song and video. :)

ReplyDeleteWow this truly will be something that will test your creativity, but also your project as a whole seeing that we basically won't have a lot of time soon after our exams. I still believe you'll be able to work on it even on the weekends, but I think you can ask for some help like Nick on the beat or in the lyrics. Still, it's a bold move you have done.
